I began with thick 6 gauge round stock and the 24K gold has been hammered out and shaped to harden it so it will keep its shape with reasonable wear. The forged dimensions run from about 2 3/4 inches by 2 1/8 inches. The feel is super solid, rugged and quite weighty with 2 .25 ounces (troy) in total (70 grams). The spirals are low profile so the bracelet slides in and out of pockets easily. The smooth curves are designed to avoid any catching or snagging. This is a bracelet that is built to last and last as a treasured heirloom to pass down to future generations.
